An Enlightened Moment

‘ Enlightenment ‘

The sweet smell of sage lingers in the breeze,
as my mind drifts in its current.

The pastels reflect from the Suns first light and
Soften the contrast of night and day.

Ghosts of the desert past watch as the room awakens.
The piercing morning sounds become part of the
colorful palette.

I close my eyes and listen to the first chatter….
It begins to sound like the voices from the past.

The footprint of the ancient ones lightly mark the desert floor..
